Welcome to Tallow Me Up! We are so happy you found us and wanted to share a little more about this project of ours and how it came to fruition.
My name is Ashton Shaeffer and I am the proud owner and operator of Tallow Me Up along with my husband and best friend, Brett Shaeffer.
Brett and I met in the beautiful state of Montana where we quickly fell in love and decided that our lives would be better with each other in it, forever.
Along this love journey, we realized that both of us had a strong passion for living a healthy, wholesome lifestyle just like our ancestors have done for thousands of years.
This included removing the infamous "forever chemicals" that are prevalent in everyday items such as food, cleaning products, and everything in between.
Getting away from these chemicals meant finding new methods and routines that were more natural and safe for our bodies.
This led to many nights of brainstorming ideas that would make our lives easier and healthier without sacrificing quality.
Both of us had dreams of owning our own business and this dream became a reality when we found Tallow Me Up.
Why Tallow Me Up?
Being the girly girl that I am, I have tried hundreds of different skincare products that never seemed to provide the nourishment I was looking for. When we lived in Montana, my skin was always dry and everything I tried did little to alleviate this issue that never seemed to go away!
Worst of all, these products were always created with dozens of different ingredients, in which 90% of them I couldn't even pronounce. This led me to search for an alternative option that I knew was truly safe for me and my body.
